Within the 13th International Investment Forum in Sochi, a cooperation Agreement was signed between the Government of Leningrad region and NanoTechMed Plus on September 19 in Sochi.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich took part in the official signing ceremony. He noted that Leningrad region had demonstrated a good example of signing practical agreements on the creation of domestic innovative products in the field of medicine. He thanked the parties for the agreement achieved and promised support from the federal center.
Governor of Leningrad region Aleksandr Drozdenko reported that the signing of the agreement was preceded by a series of trial surgical operations, which not only showed a hundred percent survival rate of carbon nanostructured implants, but also demonstrated how extremely necessary they are for Russian medicine. He noted that this is a unique domestic technology, which does not have analogues in the world, and thus the authorities plan to not only establish an enterprise but also to open a clinic where the most modern surgeries with the use of these products will be performed.
General director of NanoTechMed Plus Ltd Valery Medik stated that Leningrad region is one of the successful and dynamically developing regions of Russia. This is what determined the choice of an investment platform on the territory of Vsevolozhsky district of Leningrad region for the construction of our enterprise for production of carbon medical devices. In addition, within the signed Agreement it is planned to open a Clinic for Innovative Medicine and to organize a Scientific Center for Modern Medical Technologies.
